Billet Heating & Extrusion
850–950°F Billet7-inch and 10-inch container presses. Billet heated to extrusion temperature in induction furnaces, then rammed through the die at up to 30,000 tons. Exit speed controlled to ±0.5 ft/min.
Stretching & Aging
±0.002″ AchievableRun-out table puller maintains tension as the profile cools. Stretcher corrects bow and twist before saw cut. Artificial aging in T5/T6 ovens locks mechanical properties.

We spec'd ±0.003″ on our heat sink fins. Extrude came back and said they could hold ±0.002″ on the same die — and they did. Every lot. CMM reports included without asking.

Die tooling in 4 weeks isn't a promise most shops keep. Extrude had our first article in hand at 26 days. We've been running the same die for 3 years — zero dimensional drift.

Procurement Director
Meridian Façade Group · Curtain Wall
Our previous supplier quoted 10-week tooling and 50,000 lb minimums. Extrude tooled the die in 4 weeks, ran our 8,000 lb prototype order, and delivered anodized and CNC-drilled. One PO.
